Minimum Requirements to Apply
Prospective students are required
to meet minimum entry requirements for their chosen programmes, here are a few
examples below;
Entry requirement: Successful
completion of Grade 9 or an equivalent qualification.
All NC(V) Programs consist of 3
Fundamental subjects and 4 Vocational subjects. The following Fundamental
subjects are mandatory across all NC(V) programmes from NQF Level 2 to 4:

- Mathematical Literacy (for
Business studies and social and creative services)
- Mathematics (for ICT and
Engineering programmes)
Minimum entry requirements are in
accordance with the NC(V) programme and policy. Applicants must have
successfully completed one of the following:

(e.g., Grade 9)
- AET level 4
- PLP Results
- General Education and Training
Certificate L4 (GETC)
The minimum entry requirements
are aligned with the Report 191 programme standards. Students must have
successfully completed one of the following:
- Grade 12/NC(V) Level 4 to be
eligible for admission into N4 Business/Engineering studies and Creative &
Social Services, subject to specific programme/faculty prerequisites.
