These bursaries are open to academically exceptional students who will be in their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or later years of study in 2025.  

The escalating cost of education in South Africa has created substantial barriers for many students in recent years. Coupled with the nation's shortage of critical skills, CIPLA recognises the need to invest in the development of young talent to help address these challenges.

The Cipla Bursary is designed to support students pursuing qualifications in fields that align with Cipla’s mission and operational needs. These include:  

-  Computer and Information Sciences

What the Cipla Bursary Covers

Important Information

- Continued funding is contingent upon maintaining a 70% aggregate each academic year.  
- Bursary funding is not automatically renewed. Recipients must reapply annually.  
- All requests for funding (tuition, accommodation, meals, books, or laptop) must include a recent statement, invoice, or quotation as proof of the required funding.
