Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the MultiChoice Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:  

- Be a South African citizen.  

- Be enrolled or planning to enrol at a South African tertiary institution in a field aligned with MultiChoice’s focus areas.  

- Achieve a minimum academic performance of 75% (for Matric students) or 65% (for current university students).  

- Be a first-time undergraduate or postgraduate student (Honours or Masters) at a recognised South African institution of higher learning.  

- Eligibility is determined based on academic excellence and financial need, in accordance with MultiChoice's external bursary policy.  

The bursary provides funding for one academic year only and does not cover any historical debt. Applications will be assessed on the basis of financial need and academic merit.
