- Staying updated on accounting and auditing standards as well as relevant legislation.
- Taking a proactive approach to audit preparation, including organising logistics, handling administration, and completing tasks such as photocopying.
- Planning smaller audits, such as those for body corporates, share blocks, and investment property companies. This involves gathering entity information, determining planning materiality, conducting risk assessments, and preparing planning memorandums and audit programmes.
- Resolving audit review notes for smaller audits in a timely manner.
