Bursary Coverage

The JDK Benefit Trust is offering fully-funded bursaries to passionate and committed young South Africans. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the JDK Benefit Trust Bursary 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:  

- Must be between the ages of 17 and 21 years.

- Applicant must be classified as a Previously Disadvantaged Individual (PDI).

- Applicant must be a South African citizen.

- Currently enrolled in Matric or have completed your first or second year of studies.

-- Should be self-driven, motivated, and determined to succeed.

How to Apply 



Step 1

The application process involves the following steps:

1. Applicants must answer qualifying criteria questions.  
2. They are required to submit a motivation for applying, along with an introduction to themselves and their family.  
3. After completing the form, applicants will need to record a short introduction video and send it via WhatsApp.  
4. Additionally, all supporting documents must be emailed after completing the application (specific details will be provided).  

All applications received before the deadline of 10:00 AM on 29 November 2024 will be reviewed. Applicants will be notified of any next steps, such as a final interview, if applicable.

Documents Required

Applicants must provide the following documents to support their application:  

1. A copy of your most recent school report or semester results.

2. A copy of your identification document (ID).

3. Proof of your bank account details (e.g., bank statement or letter from the bank).

4. SARS income tax reference number form (only if applicable to your situation).

5. A recent proof of address (dated within the last 3 months).

6. A 1-minute motivation video, in which you share insights about your core values, what inspires you, and the key factors that drive you in life.

Closing Date

All applications received before the deadline of 10:00 AM on 29 November 2024 will be reviewed. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered, so applicants are encouraged to submit well in advance to account for any unforeseen delays.
