Eligibility and Application Process
3-Year University Degree
Candidates must either be currently
pursuing or have completed a 3-year university degree in any discipline. While
the program welcomes applicants from diverse academic backgrounds, there is a
preference for candidates with degrees such as Bachelor of Commerce (BComm),
Bachelor of Business Science (BBS), Bachelor of Psychology (BPsych), or
Bachelor of Social Science (BSocSci). This requirement ensures that candidates
possess a foundational level of education that prepares them for the challenges
and responsibilities of a career in human resources.
4-Year BTech Degree
Alternatively, candidates may hold or
be in the process of completing a 4-year BTech degree (NQF Level 7) in any
discipline. However, there is a preference for candidates with a BTech in HR
Management. This degree provides specialized knowledge and skills in human
resource management, making candidates particularly well-suited for roles
within the HR function. While candidates with other BTech degrees are also
considered, those with a focus on HR management are given preference due to the
direct relevance of their academic background to the role.
