Masters degrees) across various disciplines, excluding MBAs, which are not
covered by their funding. Recipients have the flexibility to pursue their studies
at any accredited South African institution of higher learning.
Note:
As an international student In South Africa, the validation of your
qualifications for your intended course of study is overseen by the South
African Qualifications Agency (SAQA). The accreditation process through SAQA
typically spans 4 to 8 weeks, potentially causing delays in university
acceptance and consequently in obtaining your study visa for South Africa.
To
ensure a smooth application process, it is strongly advised that you ascertain
early on whether your qualifications align with the National Qualification
Framework (NQF) requirements for your desired program. Additionally, be aware
that admission to Master's programs in South Africa may necessitate several
years of professional or clinical experience. Therefore, it's incumbent upon
you to verify your eligibility for your chosen course and explore alternative
options if needed.
