About the CEB Graduate Programme

The graduate programme, focused on Administration and Office Support, offers a twelve-month combination of theoretical and practical exposure to the work environment. Its objective is to familiarise participants with the role, support their professional growth, and equip them with the necessary skills for success. This experience is designed to be advantageous when opportunities for permanent positions or secondments arise.

Managed by the Corporate and Employee Benefits business unit, the programme also requires participants to independently handle tasks beyond their standard job responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

The role entails overseeing the processing of daily and monthly transactional activities, ensuring they are completed within the agreed service level agreements (SLAs). A key responsibility is conducting data comparisons to prepare premium reconciliations, ensuring that clients are applying the correct rates in alignment with internal billing systems. 

The individual serves as a liaison between internal teams and external clients, addressing client queries in accordance with SLAs, particularly those related to time-sensitive tasks (TWT). They are accountable for the entire billing process, which includes monitoring monthly billing cycles, allocating contributions, and issuing statements to clients.

Additionally, the role involves comparing bank statements against scheme batch remittances to guarantee accurate allocation of payments and premiums to the appropriate schemes. When discrepancies arise, the individual is responsible for issuing credit control measures as needed. The position also includes managing general administrative queries to support smooth operational workflows.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

Candidates interested in the CEB Graduate Programme 2025 must meet the following criteria:  

- South African ID  

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, IT, or Mathematical Sciences (related qualifications will also be considered; a Bachelor of Science in IT or Mathematical Sciences is advantageous)  

- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
