About the Tronox Bursary
Tronox proudly announces the
commencement of its Bursary Programme for the 2024 academic year, inviting

students residing within Empangeni and Richards Bay, nestled in the vibrant province
of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. This programme is not merely about financial

The bursaries will be awarded to students enrolling in the following fields:

Engineering (Process Instrumentation) (National Diploma) - 1st year students
only
·
Electrical
Engineering (Process Instrumentation) (BSc/BEng) – Only 2nd year students
·
Information
Technology (National Diploma) – Only 1st year students
·
Mine
Surveying (BSc/BEng) -Only 1st and/or 2nd students year
·
Mine
Engineering (BSc/BEng) – Only 1st and/or 2nd year students
These opportunities are available
specifically at Tronox KZN Sands Operations, situated in Empangeni and
Mtunzini. As part of the selection process, applicants will undergo a
pre-screening evaluation, with the possibility of psychometric assessments. Additionally,
successful candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment.
Before applying for the Tronox Bursary Programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

a South African citizen
·
Reside
within Empangeni or Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal
·
Have
completed Grade 12
·
Be
a top-performing student
·
Be
studying or intending to study towards one of the listed qualifications in 2024
·
Be
in the 1st or 2nd year of study in 2024 study year
·
Must
be enrolled in a recognized and accredited University or University of
Technology in South Africa
