The origins of PwC can be traced back to 1849 when Samuel Lowell Price founded his accounting firm in London. Over the years, Price's firm gained prominence for its commitment to accuracy, integrity, and professionalism in financial services. Notable mergers include the 1998 merger of Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand, which resulted in the formation of PricewaterhouseCoopers. This strategic consolidation combined the strengths of two renowned firms, solidifying PwC's position as a global leader in professional services. Throughout its history, PwC has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, setting high standards for quality and integrity in everything it does. The firm's ethos emphasizes the importance of delivering value-added solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients in an ever-changing business landscape.
